Meet Whitney!
Whitney (b. 1986, she/her) is a ceramic artist and storyteller dedicated to creating narrative through figurative forms and surreal backdrops. Drawing inspiration from both the everyday and the extraordinary, each composition tells a different personal story to collectively reference a timeless heroic journey. Through her use of vibrant, textured, and intricately adorned pieces, Whitney’s works spark imagination and joy into the spaces they inhabit.
Whitney is based in Charlotte, NC.
Artist Statement
Whitney founded WHITSKO as a creative space dedicated to storytelling through ceramic sculpture. Centered on figurative forms, textured surfaces, and surreal backdrops, WHITSKO transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary, inviting viewers to discover magic in the everyday and experience joy through imagination.
